I am receiving an error when i click on Filter in the Bex Query Designer.
Error Message:
RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE - Inconsistency Raised.
As i am new to BI 7.0 please let me know what solution i need to apply.

Hi All,
While creating InfoPackage on Datasource : 2LIS_11_VAITM, it is already applying the InfoSource.
There are two flows created on the Datasource. One was 3.x flow and one is 7.x flow. Both Flows use Infosource and then move the data to DSO.
Data only comes from 7.X flow. the other Flow i.e 3.X flow is not providing any data and is only active.
I created one more flow since I don't require any InfoSource in between, I used Datasource ---- DSO flow.
Now while creating InfoPackage on Datasource it is picking Infosource which is used for 3.X flow.
I want to know is there any way we can create normal InfoPackage [i.e It should not use any InfoSource(3.X and 7.X) ].

I have this problem: I did an OLAP connection from a BW query, and when I use it the Business Objects Analysis for Excel, I got cells of indicators with numbers and some of them without anything (empty or blank). The empty cells belong to zeroes that I guess it is because of format or anything else.
Then, when I did the report in BW, I got the empty cells as well.
I attached a print screen for example.

I enhanced a 2LIS_02_ITM extractor in DEV to populate an additional fiels. I performed the LO steps by deleting and filling the setup table. Load data and tested without any issue. I then moved the transport to QA environment. Now in QA, the datasource is retuning o record in BW and RSA3 whereas the table has records. My question is do I need to do the LO steps again in QA environment in other to load data?

Hi,
We found there is a new unit measurement value added in ECC, it shows in T006 table. We ran the BW global setting reload/update, and BW T006 table is in sync with ECC. But this value is missing in 0UNIT.
I thought 0UNIT is automatically updated with BW T006 and can't figure out why we missing a value in 0UNIT.
We are on BW 7.30 SP9.

Hi Experts,
I have created a VIEW from COEP table in Controlling, then I created a generic datasource from the view. I am able to extract from the view it works fine for INIT and full load but the problem is that I cant get delta to work. The generic datasource is delta enabled but after the init infopackage is complete, there is no more new records that are added in the view that makes it to delta QUEUE thus delta is always zero. I have used BELN field for delta specific field and selected Numeric pointer and Additive delta in ECC. I have requested more data for testing this in dev, nothing works.
Can someone please help me on this? Has someone faced similar issues before? NOTE: I can not use full load since this table is huge, I need delta to work.

We have a Legacy system data in BW which is about 25 million reports span across 6 years and by Fiscal year/period.
Currently data is held in 6 DSO's and its one time load to cube...data load won't happen on daily basis as legacy system is de commissioned.

I am having a DSO activation issue.
The DSO Transformation does not have any code that exclude records in start / end routine. There is no filter in DTP. It is a first time load, so there is no data. When I loaded the data to the DSO, it shows number of records in new data table. So when I activate the DSO, there is no data in DSO or Active Data table. Also, there is no error on activation logs.
Any idea on what is causing it or how to fix it?

Does the record mode (0RECORDMODE) affect the DSO activation?
Could you please guide how to find which infoobjects are Master data enabled at table level.
Many of our process chains are event based.
After BW upgrade 7.0 to BW 7.31 we tried to trigger the event through SM64 Tcode. But the process chains are not getting triggered.
Could anyone please guide me what might be the issue.

My BW system is based on HP-UNIX operation system, Oracle Database, and target datasource system is Windows operation system, SQL server Database, which way should I select to create source system, DB connect or UD connect? As well, What else I should pay attention to?

When i was trying to check if my query is hitting the aggregate or not, i noticed this below message :
RSRT --> Execute & Debug --> SELECT ( Display Aggregates found & Select Aggregate )
Not possibe because --- ____Characteristic 0FISCVARNT is compressed but is not in the aggregate/query
____Characteristic 0PLANT is compressed but is not in the aggregate/query
I found that all the characteristics in the query are found in aggregates ..
please see that the Selection check box is disabled.
Kindly suggest on how this can be fixed.

Hi,
We've noticed that some of our process chains are taking a little bit longer to run than normal. Chains that normally take half an hour are taking over an hour now.
We're compared various run in /SSA/BTW and each of the existing steps seems to be taking the same amount of time. The only difference we can see in SM50 is that there seems to be pauses after LOAD and ACTIVATION steps while a SAPLRSSM dialog process runs deleting data from TESTDATRNRPART0.
We haven't had much success finding out about TESTDATRNRPART0 online.
We are theorising that this always happened but it was just quick enough before that we never really noticed it.
Could anyone tell us more about that table and give us any pointers on why it would take longer to delete data from it than normal?

Hello, I have a query about bex issue. I have few fields in my DSO/Cube which has data showing correctly in the back end but in Bex it shows partial of those values. like if i have something like this:
ZField
000000000000000000008
It shows correct in DSO table but in Bex it only shows the zeros. do you know why and how to get this to show the whole field value?

i am facing the below critical issue.
i have enhanced 2 fields, item start date and end date to crm data source 0CRM_SRV_PROCESS _I Data Source.
while checking data from RSA3 i have got data for those 2 fields(item start date and end date) in CRM System, but while running Infopackage i am not getting data of those 2 fields to BI PSA table.
i got data from RSA3 in CRM Quality and Production Systems and not getting data in Quality and Production BI Systems at PSA level.
But i am getting data in RSA3 in CRM development system and BI Development system at PSA level.
Means i am facing issue only at Quality and Production BI Systems at PSA level.

I wish to extract HR organisational structure to SAP BW. the primary HR tables in use here are HRP1000 and HRP1001. 1000 tables stores the organizational data where as 1001 stores the relationship between two org units. The HR team here have sort of created a hierarchy in terms of relationship for example org unit 1000585 has relationship b002 with org unit 1000586. 1000585 represents the root node which is indication of company.
1000586 represents business. there can be furthers level below this for example 1000586 has relationship with org unit 1000587 which is a legal entity. how can i model this BW to achieve slicing dicing at query level based on these levels.

po still remaining value and po invoiced value.
AFter extensive search i got 0net_po_val for PO net value item wise.
Remaining 4. Fields am unable to search in bw targets. So how to proceed?? Any inputs?
