Started loading data into cube.. once it got completed..
Do i need to start compression or roll up??
what will be my next step??
Compression steps:
cube -->> mange -->> collapse tab -->> give the request id -->> Release ( is it correct??)
Roll up steps:
cube --> manage--> roll up tab -->> give request id --> execute ( is it correct??)
please let me know whic step i need to do after load get completed??

I have a requirement to create a fixed length file following the layout below and I am unable to get the KF (LFE-AMOUNT) correct. The Open Hub destination takes on the length of the object which in this case for key figure (0AMOUNT) is 17 (15 w/ 2 decimal). That said, even if I do a sub-string of it on the TRFN to the Open Hub, I will still have an output length of 17. I tried creating a new object but it kept dropping the decimal. Is there an easy way to do this in the TRFN via an ABAP routine? Again, I just need the KF 10 characters padded with 0 on left side.

Came across a situation. There are 7 requests in the PSA and they are loading to a DSO through Delta DTP (no other settings checked). Now when we tried to acivate the DSO request it failed saying that one of the PSA requests is having SID older than the one you are trying to load now.
We checked the data mart status of this PSA request and found that it is not moved to the DSO during the delta load.
What we suspect is that somebody loaded that request enabling the DTP setting 'Only Get Delta Once' but not sure. Now we are looking answers for below queries.
1. What could be possible reasons for this?
2. How to confirm if somebody already loaded the request through 'Get Delta Only Once' setting?
3. What are possible options to get the data from that PSA request other than a full load from source system or PSA?

We are facing a bizarre issue in BW quality where values are getting changed for a attribute of 0CUSTOMER while loading the Data from Write Optimize DSO to 0CUSTOMER.
Issue - We have values for account group as ZSAL in DSO(Same value is there in PSA also) but when we load it to 0CUSTOMER its getting changed to X
We do check all below possibilities as well,
1/ There is no Field/Start/End/Expert routine available in Transformation from DSO to 0CUSTOMER
2/ No routine available at Object level as well
3/ We dont see this issue in Dev BW
Could you please let me know if any one would have face similar kind of issue

Hello All,
we had a situation where the ECC and BW master data (already scheduled in process chains for Delta) is not matching.
Doe some Profit centres Texts and Attributes are not correctly updated in BW.
To do that what I suggested (after a long check) as a quick fix is to Reload the data into 0Profit_ctr and 0Costcenter as I was in an impression that the sometime the PSA did not get updated properly and the PSA request is deleted. This was happening in Production.
I want to know clear steps how to handle this please.
Before doing a Full Load shall we need to delete data from 0Profit_CTR ?
Or Shall we need to keep the data and Do a full Repair Load and then continue with the Delta process chains ?

we have the following situation: there are working different organizations in one BW system. They get their data from different ERP systems. They should use the same standard infoprovider for loading, let’s say it is named IP_abc.
The first organization feds multiprovider MP01 (contains IP_abc) by filtering a special characteristic.
The second organization feds multiprovider MP02 (contains IP_abc) by filtering a special characteristic.
The authorities for reporting are given on the multiproviders.
Now we need authorities for the key users of every organization in backend too. The authorities for the multiproviders are clear (based on the names of the multiproviders). But in case of loading problems the key user also should have a look to the data of the infoprovider, e.g. by using LISTCUBE.
When I consider the authority object S_RS_ICUBE I only can restrict for subobject (field RSICUBEOBJ) = DATA. This is not enough to restrict the data for the first organization from the data for the second organization.
There would be a solution to use different infoprovider too, but this should be the last solution if really necessary.
Has anybody faced the same problem and any idea or workaround to solve it?

Hi All,
I have made changes to the complete flow from DS to Infoprovider. I moved all changes to Prod in proper sequence, however routines in the transformation did not move and transformation also got inactive( white color).
I again generated TR and collected all changes i.e End routine, Field routine, transformations in one TR. But no routines got transported and transformation is displaying in green, version showing active but active version is not executable. When I am activating transformation through program RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE. But as DTP is also inactive it is not working. Giving error:
"Error/warning occurred. Activate manually using DTP UI" and "Version M and A is not equal, processing skipped". Please help.

I am struggling with the data load from 0CO_PC_01.
I have created Cube, Infosource and Transformation from business content. I have create a datasource and started extracation from source system and data load worked fine, entries are in PSA.
Yet if a start data transfer into the cube, it does not proceed after find / take SID !
What am I doing wrong ?

I tried to create BW workspace from Tcode -RSWSPW, but facing problem to create local provider as in my navigation screen i cant see any create option to load the local file. In Composite porvider in BW Workspace also create button missing.
Can you please guide me how to configure this create option in RSWSPW Local provider and composite provider.

I have migrated a data flow from two data sources successfully to 0PM_DS01 and then i am not abel to complete migration from OPM_DSO1 to 0PM_DSO2 , first i have migrated the transfer rules and then activated the infosource and transformation in infosources tab , then i went ahead to migrate datasource but its not happening , i am getting message at status bar as "

We are trying to setup a hybrid provider using infocube and virtual cube.
The setup works fine but when we try to open a report on the hybridprovider I get the message :
reading of deltapart in CUBENAME deactivated.

In delta pair class CL_RSD_DELTAPAIR_HYBRID_VS reading of delta part CUBENAME has been deactivated.

Only the aggregate part "CUBENAMEI is read. The dats is therefore probably not completely up-to-date.
I don't have any aggregates setup, since I've read this error on the forum and the response was it should have been an aggregate problem..
I've discovered transaction /oRSDIPROP can be used to change the properties and I've treid them all with no luck...
The wierd thing is, I've made the same setup using an RDA DSO and here changing the options did the trick.
Any off you have an idea why the hybrid is not able to use the "delta" part that should be in the virtual provider?

I have added 4 navigational attributes to the standard IO, while activating IO there is a list of transformations for which the below message populated.

but when i checked the transformations which are in list they are in active version only.
then why the system given this messages?
any inputs or i have to take any precautions while transporting the enhanced IO to further systems?
