My requirement is to show statistical delivery date +30 days as a new statistical delivery date in my report.
I have used ADD_TO_DATE formula in Transformation to get this done. its working if we have order date.
few scenarios where statistical delivery is empty. bcz of this my data loads are failing due to error in formula.
Can anybody tell me how to handle this.

Dear All,
Requirement is to load data from 40 Data source to 40 DSOs and from 40 DSOs to 1 Info Cube and create other cube if back dated data is required and move the data to history cube and clean the original cube and load new data.
We are thinking of creating write-optmized DSO and load it into 1 infocube and do daily deletion of data from DSOs.
Please suggest if there is any suggestion to improve this design.

I face a very strange issue, the data in DSO(direct updated) which extract data from query via APD are less than that in query(there are 5000 more data in query, but only 500 more data written to DSO), it's not the key issue, so who can tell me the root cause of this case, the job log of APD shown in the screen shot for your reference.

I have a query based on Infoset. Infoset contains 2 char & 3 DSO. When I execute the query, I could see some severe performance issues. at times it keeps loading and bring no data. Sometimes it brings data but takes a very long time than usual.
The selection is one week's data (400 odd pages), it takes around 20mins to bring the data.
The issue is in producton system & its severely affecting the UAT sign off.

2LIS_03_UM contain Plant & Value
InfoCube 0IC_C03 build on above DS
When I display data of cube it shows:

in bw 7.3 version and upwards there is an option to load XLS file (check the sheet you want to extract) from local workstation. Is there a similar option to load from application server? If there is no standart solution, maybe an option to do the same with an abap program?

I am doing Generic extraction. The problem I am facing is the i am dividing two fields but the result I am getting is incorrect. I cant understand the reason why. I also tried addition just for checking and even that result is wrong. I am explaining the scenario here:
Material No. Year Price Quantity
M001 2002 100 rs 1 kg
M002 2003 200 rs 2 kg
M001 2002 400 rs 4 kg
M001 2006 300 rs 5 kg
I want Rate ( Price / Quantity ) for a unique Material in one Year
i.e for year 2002 record 1 and 3 should be added ( coz there are 2 records for m001 in year 2002)
M001 2002 500 rs 5 kgs
rate = 500/5 = 100
I am doing this by directly loading the data to info cube (from PSA) and then doing a compression on request id so i got unique material id for an year. But the problem happens when i calculate rate during the transformation the rate is coming incorrect.
I am storing Rate (Price/Quantity) in a new info object which is of data type number with decimal value.
P.S no reporting involved this data is for BPC.

Scenario:
Cost center- User selection
Based on this should dynamically select hierarchy for cost element.(there are multiple hierarchies maintained for cost element)
Also cost center to hierarchy is one to one, the relationship is maintained in DSo- 'ZXXXXX'
Eg: CostCenter1 Hierarchy1
Costcenter2 Hierarchy2
Costcenter3 Hierarchy1
Costcenter4 Hierarchy3
So during query run time, when user key in 'costcenter1' the query should pick up 'hierarchy1' and diplay.
Is it possible? how to achieve this?

Hello Colleagues,
does anyone know how to read data from a Composite Provider by any ABAP Class or FM or whatever? The classic FM "RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ" for instance does not work. Further functions like FM for reading data alternativly by using a query are also outdated as they don't recognize the "@3...." at the beginning the "Infoproviders' Name".
Any help is kindly appreciated.

We have a P&L Report implemented in SAP BI and data is coming from 0FI_GL_10 datasource.
We would like to make it a drilldown able report on Material and Country.
Currently we dont have any field coming from 0FI_GL_10 datasource to include characterstics like Country and Material.
We also have Line Item data coming from 0FI_GL_14 datasource but it does not have commulative balance 0BALANCE.
Please let me know how we can achieve this thing.

I am working on inventory Cube 0IC_C03, I have a requirement to get the MAP price in this cube . Since MAP price is based on Fiscal Period not on calday . I want to pull MAP data in this cube based on calmonth. But in the transformation of the Cube 0IC_C03 I can see all time infoobjects are clubbed together in infoobject 0CALDAY . How can I use 0CALMONTH for transformation.

Hi all,
is there any way how to archive workbooks in BW 7.0 system?
We have hundreds of old workbooks in BW system which could be archived.
We want to avoid any type of manual archiving of workbooks (like resaving to network drive).
I know that it is possible to archive infocube or DSO data using SARA transaction.
But I've never heard about workbook archiving using SARA or any other tool.
Is it possible to archive workbooks?

I am working on BI 7.3 SP9. I am loading data for one of the dso from ECC dev to BW dev. As the data comes in data packages in BW in the datasource the half of the packages stays in yellow mode for long when i checked in the monitor screen and throws the following error:
Data Package 13 : arrived in BW ; Processing : Processing not yet finished, entry 70 still missing as shown in the below screen shot.
Now to resolve this issue i went through certain posts and threads on google and found that this is the tRFC error which can be solved by going in SM58 and execute the LUW's from edit option in it which are stuck tRFC's . So i followed the document and went through all the steps but sill was not able to overcome my problem. Can anyone suggest me what the problem is? I need a permanent solution to this problem.
Can anyone suggest me any solution for the same. Appreciate your help.
