0FI_GL_4 datasource enhancement - SAP Note 430303

Hi,

I need to enhance 0FI_GL_4 datasource appending LIFNR (Vendor) field from BSEG table. I found note 430303 where it's described how to do that but note is very old. Does anybody know which is the note that applies for ECC in release 5.0? How can I find it? I'm trying to avoid a customer exit.
