I have a requirement to create a local workbook in which every time it should show data for particular 1000 vendors for single user.
I created a local workbook and in selection screen provided those 1000 vendors and save it as a variant.
Here the issue is when workbook ran with my user ID , I was able to see that variant but Workbook ran by some other user with there user ID ,no variant is available
Please provide your valuable suggestions

We are getting different data when i ran the report with BIA and Without BIA
When i ran the report Without BIA, total revenue is 60000
Employee Companycode Profitcenter Revenue
100001 MX01 MX0000001 10000
200001 MX01 MX0000001 20000
300001 MX01 MX0000001 30000
When i ran the same report with same selections revenue is 40000
Employee Companycode Profitcenter Revenue
100001 MX01 MX0000001 10000
300001 MX01 MX0000001 30000
Please suggest on how to fix this issue.

Hi everyone,
On SAP Help i try to find description about 2 Key figures of 0CCA_C20. They are Ammount and Quantity. But there are no Desciption.
On SAP Help i have read about the datasource 0CO_OM_CCA_20, which provides data to the infocube: "This DataSource supplies costs (primary and secondary) and quantities posted to cost centers (actual, plan, and commitments)"
i don't understand which keyfigure in the Infocube gives us actual cost, plan and commitments?.
is the Keyfigure Ammount is Planned Cost and keyfigure Quantity is Actual Cost?

i want to create badi for my IC SPO which has 3 partitions.
when i run t-code RSLPO_MASS_ACT, it should fulfill the partitions as below:
at first run ; partition1 should have 2013, partition2 : 2014 and Partition3:2015 data.
at second run; partition1 should have 2016 ,
at third run ,Partition2 should have 2017 data.
i guess on the GET_T_PART_CRIT method correnponding code has to be written.
can anyone help me on that code ?

This morning I posted a question about Arithmetical error while extracting data from R3 to BW using 2LIS_13_VDKON Datasource. I serached on net and found a very useful link and applied it.
PSA Error in 2LIS_13_VDKON-Arithmetical errors or conversion errors found in routine routine 001
However, now data comes to PSA but takes forever to get updated into the Target.
Just to rule out if the solution I put in to address the previous issue, I removed the formula of Condition Rate and then I could successfully loaded the data in the target.
Can anyone please help and suggest something for this scenario?

Can someone tell me when the column MSGTYP will be filled with the value RS####? For example RS0073.
I see that for some datasources the value is RS#### and for the others the value is NULL. When does the system create on the SAP ECC system an entry in the ROOSGEN table with for example RS0073 as value for the column MSGTYP? I have put this question in SAP Neatweaver BW because I think that this is done from our BW system.

I have designed Bex Analyzer Report by using Cells level logic and, It is working fine .but i am unable to display the Year .
My report is showing three years data and i want to display the year against to them.
I have tried with different standard variable , even though it is not working.
Ex: &ZCY&
&FY_TY&
&FT_FY& and i have tried other different variables also,

I have loaded data from 0CO_OM_CCA_20 to Infocube. But in some Fields there is only Code value instead of Discription. How can I find the Text description for code value?

I am having an issue with data update from DS to DSO for Material Revaluation.
DS is 0CO_PC_ACT_02.
It is feeding delta to DSO daily. There is no change log maintained for this DSO and there is daily PSA deletion.
The issue is the key figures are having sign reversal in the next day delta feed.
Whereas, the values are positive in DS.
The key figures are overwrite and there ar eno routines maintained at transformation or DTP level.
It is direct mapping.
All key figures-stock qty, stock value, moving price - everythng gets a negative value in the next delta making the values 0.
DSO type is standard.
Any idea please why this could be happening?

Hello Experts,
We are heading into a BW/ECC/CRM upgrade pretty soon and we are using standard FIAR, FIAP,0FI_GL_10 datasources that do not have minute based extraction activated yet. So on daily basis we get the updated data only after 2 AM for eg. today 4th Feb is we run the load past 2 AM it will get data for 2nd-3rd feb- 18:30 PM to 18:30 PM between the respective dates.
Now my question is pre upgrade what should my approach be - considering clearing of delta queues is an integral part of upgrade.
i) would i wait until after 2 AM to fetch the data to BW and handover to Basis team then or
ii) since FI will work on time stamp based in BWOM2_TIMEST, it will work as expected even after the upgrade if no data is pulled into bw? and no delta or data corruption will take place? I am worried because we have almost 8 yrs of operational data.
Please let me know what you think, i know this might be a frequently asked question and I have checked a lot of forums on this but everyone has a different view on what needs to be done. It would be great to know if anyone can come across this scenario.. how was it handled.

I would like to find
1) list of reports assigned to user. and
2) list of reports assigned to roles.
from the modules or info area I have SCM(40 reports), HCM(60) and CRM(100). We have total 200 reports. I would like to find the result through within SAP BW . (T-code or table.)
I can find user information from SUIM to find list of users, roles and profiles etc. But is their any way I can a find list of reports .
However I could search the list of query through se16-> rsrrepdir (table name), I got 10,000 queries. But I don't know which query belong to which infoarea and I only need reports which belong to SCM, HCM and CRM so that I can export to excel spreading.
Please advice.

i have just created a new DSO SPO, all succesfully etc. however, i then realized i was not using an outbound infosource <xxxxx>_O, unlike my inbound infosource <xxxxx>_I, which did get used when i created a transformation.
also, i could only seem to create the transformation specific to the inbound flow.
when i checked infosources, i can see the outbound infosource, along with the transformations going in to it, but there is no target transformation for the outbound infosource.
when i try to create a transformation manually using the outbound infosource as a source, it tells me that it is inactive, whereas it does not really look like it is. also, i cannot edit it to try to activate it.
so all in all, i am little lost.

UPDATE: ok, well, i managed to create a transformation. in the end, i had to select the outbound infosource from the dropdown, and not type it in manually. so that sorted that out. take note: the outbound infosource is not displayed in the SPO maintenance, and neither are the transformations. unlike the inbound ones.
however, now i am on to the DTP, which seems to bring another problem. how to i use the SPO functionality to create the DTPs ?
i can do it outside the SPO functionality, manually as usual, however, this means i have to create a DTP for each partition. is this correct ??
yes, i can also manually create a DTP between the SPO and my target, again manually, outside the SPO functionality, but that knows nothing about the outbound infosource, so i will have to create a transformation using the SPO object directly to the target, without the use of the created outbound infosource.
all this is rather confusing, which way to go ?

i have loaded Datasource 0CO_OM_CCA_20 to BW. but i found that there is no Field company Code, therefore i need to enhance this Datasource with company Code.
On SCN Forum i found 1 Discussion about this Issue:

the man has enhanced the Datasource with Field Bukrs from the Table GLPCA.
And i have read about Enhancing DataSources with BAdI RSU5_SAPI_BADI
But the Problem is that i don't know ABAP.
Is there any way to enchance Datasource without ABAP?
Or Could any body help me with the ABAP code in enhancing this Datasource?

While loading the master data to 0GLACCEXT i faced short dump error at DTP level , it is loaded up to PSA and while running DTP i faced this issue.

Hello Gurus.
My client is going for ECC upgrade from 4.7 to ECC 6.0.
They have implemented BW for FI, SD,MM,PP. Now as we are going for ECC upgrade i have some doubts.
The finance data comes at 2.00 AM as there is setting maintained in ECC side in BWOM_SETTINGS table as 2.00AM.
Now i will explain scenario in detail:
The Business transaction closes by 6.00 PM everyday. The FI data gets loaded in BW side at 2.00AM morning .We are going to take downtime from 6.30PM so tell me how to handle delta queue of FI data as we wont be able to run that delta at 2.00AM morning.
FI data will be available in SMQ1 or it will be only once loaded at 2.00AM? I mean to say that will be able to bring FI data at 6.00PM after closing of business transaction (Note: ECC 4.7).Will i be able to see FI delta queue in ECC side and bring it in BW side according to my requirement for a day or two.

We are trying to create reports in SAP BW 7.4 on SAP RAR module.
1) Can any one please suggest the are the transaction datasources be sufficient to pull the entire data or do we need to build any custom datasources
on tables.
Transaction datasources:
FARR_RA_10 Revenue Analysis by Posting Date
FARR_RA_20 Allocated price change of POB
FARR_RA_30 Revenue Forecast.
2) Also please give your insights on BW dataflow on RAR is there any exisiting BW cont flow for RAR or should we build on our own like ADSO and Composite provider. If we need to build our own how i need to integrate this RAR with SD DSO like Billing.

This is my first post on SCN forum. I am fairly new to BW and hence this might be a very basic question.
We are presently on SAP BW 7.0 and we're planning an upgrade to 7.4. However, our FI data extraction (FIAR FIAP) from ECC to BW is on daily basis.
I have checked the BWOM2_TIMEST table where I can see that the time stamps are such that data extracted for instance on 3rd Feb fetches data for 01.02.2016 - 18:30:00 to 02.02.2016 - 18:29:59 and in the BWOM_SETTINGS table as well the parameters are set in a way that only data for last 24 hrs is fetched post 0200 hrs. (minute based extraction is off).
So coming to the question - If we go into the upgrade - Please suggest :
i) would we have to wait until after 0200 hrs to fetch this data and then take the system down or
ii) if we do not pull data to BW and take a downtime. Would there be any data loss? since FI works on timestamp..
I have read on the forums but there are different views on this topic hence if folks who have worked on an upgrade can please help me with this.. That would be splendid!
