I am new to this portal and I seek you guys help to resolve the below error its very urgent.

I have encountered an error while updating the data from PSA to Infocube i.e. Purchasing Data Cube 0PUR_C01 from the Data Source 2LIS_02_ITM in R3 extraction.

The Error is-

"Exceptions in Substep: Rules".

"Messages for 101 data records saved: request is RED according to configuration."

"Processing Terminated."

Data Package2: Errors during processing.

"RSDS 2LIS_02_ITM........."

:Error- Messages for 60 records saved:request is Red according to configuration."

Updating to Infocube 0PUR_C01

"Error while updating to target 0PUR_C01(type Infocube)"

"Messages for 41 data records saved:request is Red according to configuration."

"Processing Terminated".

The above in RED is the entire error.

When I explored the error message to see the long text then following was appeared---

" Run time error while executing rule-->see long text RSTRAN 301"

An error occurred while executing a transformation rule: The exact error message is:

The argument 'X' can not be interpreted as a number.

Hello All,

I went through many threads and doc in sdn and still need some clarification.

Presently we are manually reconciling AP data manually between BI and ECC(T-code: FBL1N). Now we want to automate the process.

Now is it possible to recon the AP:

1. Using Standard Reconciliation DataSource

2. UsingDirect Access to the DataSource using remote cube

3. Using Generic DataSource with Database View

4.Using Generic DataSource with Function Module

I will more interested to implement the process for first two points, if possible.

Please suggest.

I have read about salesforce.com adapters available which we can use using BODS and connect salesforce table to BW by creating flows. Is this possible?

We are getting belowerror while transporting a Process Chain.

I found a relevantnot #659160 related to the issue which indicates the issue at BASIS side.

However our BASIS team insists that the issue is at BW end. Please let me know if there is some

Are there any existing extractors/data sources built for pulling Payment Orders from SAP Banking Services?

We have identified the following tables of interest for Payment Orders:

ZTB_BCA_PO_HD - Payment Order Header

ZTB_BCA_PO_IT - Payment Order Detail

We are going to consider creating a data source from these tables, but both tables do not have a true delta date field.  There is a create date and update date, but they are separate fields.

We are trying to activate the data source '0MATERIAL_ATTRIBUTE' in ECC 6.0. Its a standard datasource and we have not made any changes to it before activating. When trying to activate, we get a warning message -

"Make repairs in foreign namespaces only if they are urgent"

"Warning have occured (see log)."

From the log we have the following information -

The even-numbered length of the DEC field MHDHB can lead to problems

Diagnosis

You want to use the field MHDHB in the extract structure for DataSource 0MATERIAL_ATTR. This field has a field of type 'DEC' (or 'CURR' or 'QUAN') with an even number of characters. This can create problems since the length resulting from calculations in ABAP (for example, in extractors or Customer Exits for extraction) is too large to be inserted in the database later (PSA in BW), causing a short dump.

Inspite of the warning we tried to replicate the datasource -  '0MATERIAL_ATTRIBUTE' into BI 7.0 by T-code RSDS. We got an error message  -"Datasource doesn't exist in source system"

Hello Friends,

I have a requirement to load time dependent customer hierarchy, to be used in BEx reports. I have gone most of the threads in the forums about 0cust_sales and 0customer.

• The table that is updated in ECC is KNVH. As we cannot map the data from KNVH directly to 0customer, I have loaded the data to 0cust_sales using using datasource0CUST_SALES_LKDH_HIER.
• Now I have downloaded the 0cust_sales hierarchy using the program Z_SAP_HIERARCHY_DOWNLOAD and changed the object there to reflect 0customer.
• Once the file is downloaded, I tried to create a file datasource for 0Customer and load the file.
• Initially I found issues with format, as 0cust_sales would have a combination of sales org, dist channel, division together with customer. I replaced all those numbers with zeros.
• The preview looks good with all the fields properly populated.
  
• But still not able to load the file. I have checked in SLG1, its all green. but hierarchy does not show any update.

As a second step, I tried to create a manually 2 nodes in the 0customer hierarchy and tried to download it using the program. Then tried to upload again. Its working after manual change only for some entries

We are getting values as "445 Error" for the some of the KFs in RSRT output. There are other KFs as well with the same settings. But we are not getting the error for them. This error is occuring only when there is no currency assigned for the row. For more details find the screen shot as below :

on the query designer i have a variable where the user fills in the year N, and In the query i need to calculate a profit of a year N-1 according to a year N entered by the user.

a copy of how i defined my variables and my ratio profit_N-1 is attached, when I compile the code with in input 2013 for example I can see that my variable Yearn-1 takes 2012 at the end, but in the query my ratio ^ profit_N-1 doesn't bring anything.

Does anyone know in which table this field is stored?

Hello, I have a query about SAP BW upgrade. If a company already has BW 7.3 on Hana and they want to upgrade to BW 7.4 on Hana. Would it make a big difference? and is there a guide that will list the differences between 7.3 and 7.4?              1. infocube, multi-provider, transformation, routine, remodeling Rule.

Why are several fields, in my custom DataSource (created in rso2) not available for select?

I do not think this is a permission issue, since several fields are selectable, but not all fields.

It is not the data type, since I see other custom DataSources that have the same data type, and it is selectable as a select option.

This is not a DataSource that was provided by SAP, it is completely custom, and uses a custom data definition (defined as a structure via se11), and a custom function.

I have read the responses to similar questions, but have not found an answer that explains how to make the field selectable for select.

What determines which fields can be selected for selection, and which fields have this option greyed out (not selectable)?

I have come across multiple answers, for similar questions, that suggest an abap program to directly update table roosfield.

Is this safe?

IF I choose this route will I need to run the update program on production, or will the change it makes to my dataSource transport with my transport?

(I can test this).

What I most need to know is If this suggestion is safe, or if it has side effects?

Hi Experts,

User execute a report with set of selection condition to display delivery details.

For a particular key figure report displays as 0 for few deliveries and for other delivery the values are displayed correctly.

But in the back end, the cube contains value for all the deliveries.

Please let me know what could be the reason for the report displaying 0 for few deliveries only. Thanks
