Can we change the design of the cube if Dimension size > 20% : with data in it

Dear Guru,

I have a live cube in which one of the Dimension % is 59% compared to the Fact Table.

As can be seen below it has huge  data in it.

INFOCUBE           /BIC/DINFOCUBE9     rows:         25    ratio:                 0  %

My Dimension contains :

1. Article

2. Movement Type

3.Stock Type

4.BW Document Number

I understand that this is not good design, now i want to change it.

1.Change to Article as a line item dimension

2. Document number as a separate dimension

3. stock type and movement type as a different dimension.

My Doubt is ?

1. Is it advisable to do it with this data on the live cube

2. If can be done what care should be taken.

Appreciate if you suggest any other better solution as the query performance is bad on this cube.
