Extraction of HRP1001 to BW via generic data source

Hi experts

I have a data modelling question.

I Need to extract the Job Family from IF HRP1001 - according to the Standard it is the relationship 450 - JF-S.

my idea is to create a generic data source and add the information as an attribute.

If I get it right- I have to add it as attributes of 0HRPOSITION - is it correct?

what if they want to add it to the employee ? is it possible to make it via generic data source.

where does it make more sense to add the job family? to Position or employee? - they don't have OM module in place - just PA.

I have the same question with functional area- where does it make sense to add it? position or employee?

I have to do everything via generic data source - and add it to attributes- I don't want to adjust the standard data sources .
