We are loading hierarchies from ECC to BW. This load is done with info package dynamic selection.
To achieve this we have introduced an ABAP code which reads all available hierarchies from ECC by passing data source name to FM
RSAP_REMOTE_HIERARCHY_CATALOG with a remote call to ECC.
This FM provides us list of all the hierarchies available in ECC.
With this approach we end up updating all the hierarchies all the time we trigger the load irrespective of ECC hierarchy changed or not.
Is there a way we can find last changed on timestamp for these hierarchies when these are changed in ECC?
And another thing I see that there is field TIMESTMP returned in the table E_T_HIERS from FM; but this is always blank. Is there any setting we are missing in ECC that allows this to populate?
