Changes in Refrence info object impacts

Hi Experts

I have the IO A and created the IOs B,C and D with the refreence of A.

Now the requirement is to add the attribute in B,I can do the changes only in A since it is a Refrence.

All A,B,C and D has data.Is it possible to add the attribute in A with data,yes I think,then it will get reflect in B,C,D.What is the impact should I drop the data in all objects or should I do manual activation of all IO?
