Re-use a LIS report as a function

Hello

I need to determine the turnover per material on a given period of time and encapsulate in a function.

The same result is provided by the standard LIS report : MC+Q

So I would like to re-use this standard program to ensure my results are relevant.

How could I call the report and get the result as an output parameter of a function ?

Or as an alternative are there some standard function modules / methods that read the info structures and return such results as the LIS reports ?
