Hopefully someone has the answer to this. Would anyone know if I created a new InfoObject with a reference characteristic... would security restrictions of that reference characteristic affect my characteristic?
In my scenarino I am using 0COUNTRY in a report that is being used to report the destination country. However, there is some authorizaiton restriction on 0COUNTRY causing users to not be able to see some records. For example, if there is a record of a USA employee traveling to Mexico, but the report user only has authorization to the USA country, they are unable to see this record. So my idea is create a new InfoObject referencing 0COUNTRY to get around this but I'm not sure if the restriction on 0COUNTRY will still affect this new InfoObject.
