Can you use asterisk (*) or (%) when assigning cost center ranges in BEx?

Hello all,

I'm currently updating our BW P&L to become usable for all countries; for cost center range upload, will ranges using asterisk work in BEx?

eg. Instead of below, upload a flatfile using ****A01001 - ****A01199

1001A01001-1001A01199

1002A01001-1002A01199

1003A01001-1003A01199

This will greatly help if possible since no need to place all company codes for all countries.

If not, is there a better alternative rather than coding all?
