Complex scenario

Team,

I am stuck in some complex requirement. See if i have material like A having creation date as 1st of July 2014 and creation reason as "Innovation".

Material Number          Creatiion Date     Reason of creation

0001                              1-July-2014     Innovation

Now any material can be innovation for three months from the created date on. So this material will be innovation from July/Aug/Sep. Now for example if user run the report for date range as 15Sep - 15 Aug.

So all transaction for this material its type should come as innovation till 15sep - 30 sep and 1 aug to 15 aug it should come as port folio.

Let me know how we can acheive this in BW or in BEx
