Hi - we are in the middle of migrating our queries from 3x to 7x. I had a user request variants for a specific query be migrated. I followed this document to do the migration: http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/BI/Migration+of+BEx+Analyzer+3x+to+BEx+Analyzer+7x. I ran program RSR_VARIANT_XPRA first for the specific query. I then ran program RSR_MIGRATE_VARIANTS with the Migrate All Variants for Query option selected and entered the query name. I get Error:Variant not found.
I looked in these 3 tables: RSRVARIANT, RSRVARIANTDIR, RSRVARIANTTXT...and the query/variants are not in any of them. It's my understanding that program RSR_VARIANT_XPRA should move the variants into the tables.
When I open the query in analyzer, in 3x and 7x, the variants are gone.
Can anyone tell me what happened to my variants? It seems as if they have been deleted.
