Handle Masterdata with various source systems.

Hi All,

I have a requirements to read data from various source systems (e.g. client 100, 200 & 300) into BW.

In BW, I’m using individual DSO=> Cubes for each source system and combining all into Multiprovider to get all sources systems data in Reporting, in DSOs & Cubes included Logical system id to filter by system in BEX reporting.

But my question is, how can I differentiate Master data e.g. have company codes which are reading from various sources into 0COMP_CODE and being used in DSOs & Cubes. There is a chance to have different company code description but code might be same.

1. E.g. Source system1=> company code 1500 – XXX

        Source system2=> company code 1500 – YYY

If I use logical system id as compounding key in 0COMP_CODE, it is going to display company code with logical name (CIPCLNT100/1500)

Please advice what is the best approach to get my requirements?
